What is SeeK?

Science and Engineering Experiments for Kids (SeeK) is an organisation, based in the University of Cambridge, whose aim is to promote the excitement and fun of science and engineering to children in primary schools. Simple scientific concepts and principles are introduced using hands-on experiments based on National Curriculum Key Stage 2 Science and Technology.

SeeK aims to:

  • excite and encourage primary school kids in science and engineering
  • support teaching of science & engineering
  • promote science & engineering in local communities
  • strengthen school-university links
  • share with kids the enthusiasm of young scientists currently at universities.

Further information about SeeK's objectives, important facts & figures, plus details of how you can get involved and sponsor SeeK events and initiatives, are available from this site, including a downloadable leaflet.
