Additional resources are being added slowly in the More Activities section. These are in both complete package form or stand alone activities for use at school or at home.

Current SeeK workshops, with associated resources, are:

Forces includes activities intended to introduce and demonstrate several topics such as: Newton's Laws, gravity, centre of gravity and stability.

Materials investigates the structure and properties of a wide range of materials such as metals, glasses, plastics, superconductors etc.

Electricity & Magnetism consists of activities and demonstrations which introduce and illustrate the ideas of electrons, electricity and basic circuits (including series and parallel circuits) and activities designed to introduce and illustrate the topics of magnetism.

Light investigates the properties of light, looking at how it travels, how we see colours, and reflections.

We will be continually adding more fun activities to this website which can be incorporated into school lessons or done at home.

Note: All themes are based on national curriculum Key Stage 2 science and technology, as indicated in the experiment details. The experiments themselves also fulfil the criteria for Sc1 Scientific enquiry.
