Description

MAP_DATA_STEEL_MS contains data for the martensite start temperature of a variety of steels as a function of their composition. It contains, as a subset, the databases offered by Capdevilla et al, or Pieter van der Wolk on this web site (MAP). However, these have been thoroughly checked and a number of significant errors were found and corrected. The present database contains an additional 700 data points gathered from published literature.
We would therefore recommend use of the present database in all cases.
