Undergraduate study

Materials Science in Cambridge is taught as part of the Natural Sciences Tripos. This means that it is possible to do a degree specialising in Materials Science or just to take Materials Science courses in early years before specialising in a different field such as Physics or Chemistry.
For a general overview of what Materials Science involves, have a look at “Why Study Materials” and for year-by-year overviews of the courses in Cambridge follow the links on the left.
