The Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy and the Board of Electors to the Tata Steel Professorship of Metallurgy invite candidates with an outstanding research record of international leadership in the field of metallurgy to apply. The candidate's areas of interest may include, but not be limited to, ferrous metals with the vision, leadership, experience and enthusiasm to build on current strengths in maintaining and developing a leading research presence. They will hold a PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
