Are you passionate about teaching and have a proven track record of teaching undergraduate or graduate students? Have you completed (or are near to completing) a PhD in Materials Science or other closely related area in the Physical Sciences? If so, you could be the next member of the teaching team at the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy - we are looking to appoint a Teaching Associate with a solid background in Materials Science. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to a range of teaching duties for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years during this fixed term appointment.  

This is an excellent opportunity for an early career researcher or academic to join a leading national and international centre engaged in teaching and developing educational practice, and to gain valuable experience of teaching and programme management at primarily undergraduate level. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of colleagues.
