As a Teaching Associate, my responsibilities involve working with our Teaching Office and the rest of the Teaching Fellows to help coordinate, develop, and run our undergraduate course. I am Head of Part I Materials Science.
I give lecture courses on a range of aspects of Materials Science, including Materials for Devices, Polymer Physics, and Polymer Processing.
Before starting my current role, I undertook a PhD within the Cambridge Centre for Medical Materials. My work focussed on materials for stimulating angiogenesis in muscle replicas, and I remain interested in research into biopolymers, natural materials, and sustainability.
I am also a bye-fellow at Selwyn and Lucy Cavendish College, and am the Director of Studies for Materials Science at the latter.
