Project areas: 
You will be participating in development of new gas mixtures for Additive Manufacturing of metallic parts. Key activities will be: prepare CAD file, perform Additive Manufacturing using a metal 3D printer, analyse microstructure and mechanical properties of the material and develop process parameters to improve final part quality.

Period of placements: 10 weeks between commencing in July

Accommodation arrangements: Single room 400-650 Euro (~£335-545) per month. Limited assistance can be given to help find accommodation. (

Travel costs: might be useful to get a MVV IsarCard monthly ticket, approx. 92-114 Euro per month (depending upon how many rings of the transport network you need)
