The first load of nitrile gloves have been collected to go to a recycling plant following a successful trial in three University departments. Since early 2020, the Departments of Materials Science & Metallurgy, Physics, and Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology have been working with their staff and students to carefully sort and collect nitrile gloves from laboratories and clean rooms across their buildings.  Well done to the local Green teams championing this initiative and more in their departments!
