On the 10th of January 2023 Prof. Serena Best and Prof. Ruth Cameron, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, and Prof. Róisín Owens, Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, officially opened the Royce 3D Bioelectronics Facility.

The Facility Lead, Dr. Daniel Bax, introduced the research capabilities of this new Small Research Facility and thanked The Henry Royce Institute, EPSRC, School of Technology, and School of Physical Sciences for their generous support.

Guests enjoyed poster presentations by students and post-doctoral researchers, informal discussions, and small-group tours of the new Facility. This created opportunities to explore future collaborations and uses of the new equipment.
