Congratulations to Prof. Nick Jones, who was recently awarded the 2022 Harvey Flower Titanium Prize (Retrospective) at the IOM3 award dinner in London.  The Harvey Flower Titanium Prize is an international award presented to those who have made a substantial scientific or technological contribution to the production, processing and use of titanium and its alloys.  Nick was awarded the prize for his work on metastable beta titanium alloys, which has led to a fundamentally new understanding of their transformation conditions and the role of the omega phase.
